Suren Chelvarajah

Managing Director · Engineering & Project Management

Suren founded SSCM Energy with more than a decade of experience delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects across Australia’s electricity industry. His expertise spans engineering design, asset strategy, project & program management, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of major utility and renewable energy initiatives.

Having worked across both network utilities and consulting environments, Suren combines strategic thinking with practical project delivery. His collaborative approach enables clients to navigate complex technical, commercial and stakeholder challenges while maintaining a strong focus on achieving successful project outcomes.

Suren is passionate about supporting Australia’s energy transition through practical engineering solutions, trusted partnerships and the development of sustainable infrastructure that creates long-term value for clients and communities.
